Dynamic Deep Dives
PURPOSE
The 3D series is a multidimensional workshop series designed for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, &/or People of Color) to deepen skills in specific farming and land stewardship practices in a culturally relevant, supportive, and joyful environment. Expert facilitators offer workshops throughout the season, paying homage to legacies of African Diasporic and Indigenous wisdom and innovation carried through generations.
VIRTUAL
Virtual 3D workshops include learning resources and most programs offer accompanying videos showing hands-on, step-by-step explanations relevant to the workshop topic. The live program is a 90-minute interactive virtual workshop for engaged learning with opportunities for questions and answers.
While the virtual workshops are designed to be a culturally relevant and safe space that centers BIPOC farmers, gardeners, and land stewards (read why here), all instructional videos accompanying the workshops are released on YouTube as part of Soul Fireโs Liberation on Land video series for everyone to enjoy.
Registration for virtual workshops closes the day before the event. Please view registration pages for the exact time.
If you are not attending the live event, you can make a donation to support BIPOC participation. We will send you the resource materials and the recording of the Zoom workshop.
IN PERSON
In person workshops take place at Soul Fire Farm. Each workshop lasts from 3 to 6 hours, and typically includes a presentation from expert BIPOC facilitators, a hands-on learning opportunity, and lunch. Tickets for these events close 5 days before the event. Registration is required. Please only register if you are able to stay for the entire program as spots are limited. Plan to arrive on time.
In order to ensure COVID and community safety all participants must follow our Visitor Guidelines.
This yearโs programming will be offered in English, as we redirect our commitment to language access and language justice to relationship and community building to inform what multilingual skill-share spaces will look like in the future.
You do not need to be a graduate of a Soul FIRE Immersion Program to attend.
