Chickens can be part of a healthy backyard ecosystem, consuming food scraps and insects, and producing eggs and fertilizer. They are also relatively easy to raise and great fun to observe. In this workshop, we will learn the basics of raising chickens in the city, including housing, feed, equipment, regulations, and health.
